Why Blog? Well Here Goes Nothing...

"Why Blog?" You say. Well I've started several blogs and never kept up with them because I feel like I didn't have any relevant things to blog about. A few weeks ago I finally decided to blog just to have a record of our life from triumphs to tragedies. Something I can look at in a few years or a few months and discover I have learned SOMETHING... In all honesty, since I will be the main one blogging, this blog will mostly have gardening, crafting and educational stuff on it. That's what I love, that's what I'll write about. My goal is to blog twice a month. If I'm not taking classes (like during breaks) I'll try for once a week.

Quick about me. I'm a full-time student, part-time worker. I'm married, no children (yes we're DINKS). I've been crafting for years, mostly beading, crochet and embroidery. I do quick crafting projects, I don't have the attention span or time for bigger ones. I'm a first year gardener. I've killed a few plants in my day. What's in my container garden are: garlic chives, basil, patio tomato, okra, strawberries and peppers. I also have house plants that have survived 5 moves in 3 years, they are snake plants and a cactus.

So for today I'll leave you with a few pictures of my first garden grown veggies.... From top to bottom: Patio tomato plant, my first okra pod, okra bloom (they're related to hibiscus), more okra and green peppers...
